It was my good fortune to be in the writer's group that met at Betty's for quite a few years. She was such a gracious hostess and made us all feel welcome in her home. We shared so many stories and memories with our writings and I loved the poems she wrote. I will never forget how she loved to sing "Montana" and tell about the place that she called "home". It is sad for me to say my goodbyes to Betty but what a joy she was to be around. I'll be forever grateful that she was a part of my life, even if it was only the first and third Tuesday of the Month. I will miss her very much, but she will always put a smile in my heart when I think of her. Irene Rader
